Do I Need a Referral or Mental Health Care Plan?
Depending on your circumstances, you may choose to access our psychology and psychiatry clinic via one of the following options:

Make an appointment with your GP and ask them for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist referral or Psychiatry Referral (for medication).
Obtaining a Mental Health Care Plan, for a Psychology referral, will mean you are eligible for a Medicare Rebate (up to 10 sessions) per calendar year.
Your GP can fax or email Clarity a copy of your MHCP or Psychiatry Letter. You may also bring a hard copy to the Clinic.

You can contact us and let us know you are self-referring.
A self-referral means that you are seeing a Psychologist or Clinician privately and will pay full-fee. No Medicare rebate is available.For more information on our fees, click here
